Joesc's Thoughts

Great drink if you have extra jicama.
Jicama is a good source of calcium so drink up.
This recipe that I found somewhere on the internet (don’t remember where) calls for 1 inch sliced jicama, but I found the drink too sweet and added another slice of jicama.
I use Gala apples for juicing, and I am unsure what kind of pear I used.

I just made this. It was deeelicious! I was drawn to your recipe because of the fact that I love jicama and because you mentioned it being full of calcium! I didn't know this. Thanks for the extra info Joesc...good idea to put jicama in a drink! I'll be drinking this regularly ;-)
TIP: The first time I peeled jicama, I did it the hard way...peeling inch by inch. But today I cut a piece off to put in my juicer and I noticed the peel had lifted itself in one corner. I was able to just peel the skin right off. That's just a tip to make things easier for someone. Cut off a chunk and peel the skin off by hand. Or maybe you already knew this...sometimes I'm the last to know lol!
