Makes 1 big meal of a smoothie or 2 small ones

1 Apple, chopped
1 Pear, chopped
4 Dates, chopped
2 tablespoon Tahini
1½ tablespoon Flax Oil
Water
Recipe Directions
Blend everything together, adding as much water as needed to get your perfect consistency. Sorry about the lack of picture…it was too good! Maybe next time. :)

Great use of seasonal fruits, OnandOn! I left out the flax oil (didn't have any). It's still good, and it reminded me of an old favorite ice cream, so the second time (yes, I'm having it for lunch two days in a row) I added a handful of walnuts, substituted a couple tablespoons maple syrup for a couple of the dates, threw in a handful of ice in my VitaMix and WOW! Maple-Nut shake. YUM!
