Recipe Directions

1. Mix the coconut and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside for rolling.

2. Put all other ingredients in a food processor. Slowly add in the orange juice if it doesn’t bind together completely.

3. Roll into small balls.

4. Coat with the coconut mixture.

5. Store in a sealed glass container in the fridge.

Theblendergirl's Thoughts

By theblendergirl

My mum and I make these raw fruit balls all the time, and they are absolutely delicious.

We use raw almonds, cashews, and macadamias as our nutty blend. But you could use any nuts that tickle your festive fancy. Just know that each nut mix will yield a treat of a different personality.

Roll out these vegan treats. They make great snacks in school or work lunch boxes; great power snacks for a long work out; or a great little bite to put beside a cup of herbal tea.

These will last in a sealed glass container in the fridge for weeks. But they never do!

when i was a kid, my mom always used to make fudge balls this time of year. since going vegan years ago id been missing them dearly.. so i expected these to be good.. but i hadnt expected them to be as fantastic as they were! i devoured them as quickly as i made them. i didnt have apricots or the almond essence, and although i do think they would add to the deliciousness, i dont think they hurt without them either. i will be making these for everyone for the holidays! quick, easy and delicious.

Ouch - what was all that about!! Not a very positive vibe, maybe I am missing something?

I have just come across this site and think it is great to find a selection of recipes all available free.

I have to disagree, did you know that this site has hardly had any new posts in months? Thanks for posting some new and fresh looking recipes. So what if she's promoting aything, there's always room for something new... raw food can get boring if you dont have new recipes! And she's putting up stuff for free with nice pics which is what more people should be doing!

I think it's great that theblendergirl is posting so many recipes--not many people have been posting lately. So thanks, blendergirl, and I'd love to see more!
