Ingredients
Apples (peeled, cored)
Pears (peeled, cored)
Agave nectar (to taste)
Fresh orange juice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Dried currants or sun dried raisins
Butternut squash (peeled, seeds removed, and spiralized or shredded)
Recipe Directions
1. Prepare butternut squash (will soften more if you rub a pinch of salt into strands and let sit for a few minutes).
2. Process the remaining ingredients in a food processor.
3. Add a few dried currants (these are just like very tiny raisins and taste the same to me!) or sun-dried raisins before serving (optional).
