Recipe Directions

1. Place all refried bean ingredients into food processor. Process until refried bean consistency. Refried beans are now ready.

2. To assemble tacos, place moderate amount of mock re-fried beans at bottom of cabbage leaf/nori wrap or lettuce leaf.

3. Add sliced avocado, cilantro, and tomatoes to taste. Garnish with sea salt and cumin as desired.

Mock Re-Fried Beans (Taco and Burrito)

4 out of 5

It does taste like refried beans. It's really good. You can add toppers as you usually wood to the taco/ burrito.

I just made 2 tacos with sunflower seeds instead of walnuts and no banana or avocado mixed with the beans. Avocado was used as a spread for the romaine lettuce leaves and as a topping over the mock beans.
