I adapted this from The Innocent Smoothie recipe, “Banana, Medjool dates, and oats.” The original contained yogurt and apple juice, but this tastes just as good.

Recipe Directions

1. Place the milk in the blender and add the bananas and dates broken into pieces.

2. Add the oats and agave nectar if using.

3. Blend for a minute to ensure it is all smooth and delicious.

4. Pour into a nice glass and serve.

Sounds delish! Just how many cups would you say is half a pint?

Even though I can't eat oats, I love the combination of almond milk and bananas, like in ice cream, smoothies, drinks, anything! Great recipe :)

Ive not posted it anywhere else chakre essence - I thought I made it up. I hope I havent unwittingly plagarised someone elses name. If I have I apologise.

I was trying to convert 300ml of almond milk and was working with english pints so it may be nearer 1 and 1/3 cups of milk.

I thought oat flakes weren't raw. You could probably make this with soaked oat groats though. Sounds seriously yummy.
