These taste a bit sweet and a bit saltybetter than carmelized onions. Great on sandwiches, salads, tacos, etc!

Recipe Directions

shred or slice onions in with food processor or just slice them up.

put 1 or 2 cups of sliced onions in a container, preferably glass.

pour the agave and bragg’s on top of onions, covering them in liquid.

(you may have to add more of the liquids to cover onions, depending on how many you are using…or adjust quantities to taste..if you want them sweeter or saltier..)

put lid on container and put in fridge. allow to marinate for awhile. i think they taste best when marinated overnight. even after a few days, they taste great)

enjoy!

I'm wondering what these would be like dehydrated after marinating them... I may have to try this, if there are any left after they get done marinating! :-)
