Kandace's Thoughts

By kandace

This is quite a filling breakfast. I like to eat this granola with bananas and almond milk. It is also ideal for travel.

I made this, which by the way was sooo good, and I sent some home to my family. They loved it so much...maybe even more than SAD granola.

i wonder if i can use groats to replace a lot of the nuts that so many recipes call for ? You think? Maybe i could soak and dry and then grind them into a powder... just thinking out loud. what do you guys think?

Hello simplylife, Just wanted to mention that buckweat groats should not be soaked more than 10-20 minutes ( but they can be sprouted after that) because they loose their nutrients in the water if you leave them longer.I was told this by the guy working at my organic coop.I backed it up by sproutpeople dot com enjoy your breakfast!
