I think that’s a great idea!
why not?!
sign me up!!!!!
Where though? People use this site from all around the world!
That would be great- but yes, where is the question? Maybe we could have a few in different parts of the world & country and have a live conference call or something with a “sister city”... just brainstorming..
Aww, but it would be so nice to meet everyone…tricky tricky!
THE BEACH mwua ha ha. I love the beach and water. funny cuz im not a water sign tho.
California! :)
Alaska! no, just kidding. Hawaii!
Actually, Alaska has a raw food restaurant.
Anywhere besides California and Florida… been there, done that.
How about Colorado… been there too, but would love to go again.
Oh wait, even better UTAH! Isn’t parts of Oregon raw-food-friendly?
The mountains!
What about overseas… New Zealand… I don’t know actually, wherever it’s raw-food-friendly?
How about Florida?
is anyone supportive of an east coast raw party?
Practically speaking it might be a good idea to have it where there is a really active raw food community. I love the idea and since I would have to travel really far to be a part of it I would appreciate enjoying a community with lots of farmers markets and raw food resteraunts. I guess California comes to mind… or maybe Arizona? Also, it would be cheaper to organize if we didn’t have to fly in raw food gurus from all over the place? I can see it though…. walking around with my name tag “northernlights” ! After awhile chatting with you guys it would really be fun to meet over some good raw food and listen together to some inspiring speakers. :)
Hmmm, how about Toronto or Waterloo Ontario!
I think many locations would be cool. I think it should also be open to everyone, That way it brings the message to a wider audience.
I thought it could be like one of those great artsy fests, where there are all sorts of vendors. Funky clothes, funky jewlery, funky arts and crafts, and of course LOTS of RAW food vendors.
Gosh it would be fun!
How many raw foodies on the East Coast? I’m near Boston.
east coast yeah!!!
California, for sure…
Yes..California
it could be an annual thing – first on the east coast, next year CA?
Well, for purely selfish (and cost saving) reasons, I’d vote California. Like San Francisco, maybe. But Arizona or Utah would be pretty sweet, too. I’ve never been to the desert and have been dreaming about it lately. Actually, I might be getting this idea all tied up with my screaming desire to go to Burning Man… slightly different venue. Ha! ;o)
UTAH! I live here, so I could afford to come:) We do have a really good raw food restaurant and several raw food experts & chefs around here, too.
San Francisco has an amazing farmer’s market and great raw food restaurants!
I’d love to see something on the east coast.
I had considered the idea of setting up a “chat room” for Gone Raw. It wouldn’t exactly be on here… at least not in the short term. It would have to either be somewhere you need a special program, or maybe through a service that our business sometimes uses for chatting. This service would limit the number of participants at any given time, but I think it would be great for letting small-ish numbers of people chat online.
Would y’all be interested in that?
Actually that would be fun. I’m into that!
That sounds totally fun.
we could use an IRC channel
Using IRC is definitely an option, I was just concerned that it could be kinda complicated for most folks. It would work great, though!
I have no idea what an IRC channel is?
Didn’t see this when I posted for a raw weekend retreat. There are so many things on the west and east coasts for Raw food events and such that I was thinking middle of the country might be nice. Or how about three, one on the west coast, one on the east and if other countries want to hold one too then we could all do it on the same weekend so that when we get back we can all share. about our experiences.
