If you did not make crackers out of the bread, it should be refrigerated. The grawnola can be left out for a good two weeks. Some do longer. I don’t. Grains can be left out but keep in a cool area. I refrigerate all nuts and seeds. I refrigerate co-co-nut oil, once open.
Yes, your grawnola should keep fine outside the fridge. I’ve heard that if you refrigerate your raw granola, the moisture content will increase, and it will soften and go bad more quickly.
I always leave coconut oil unrefrigerated. It is highly anti-fungal, so it will take years supposedly before it will go bad. I tried refrigerating once, and it became so hard I couldn’t use it for a couple hours. :)
Branwyn—If memory serves me correctly, you live in the Atlanta area; I’m between Atlanta and Montgomery, AL. It’s humid enough here that I prefer to err on the side of sealing virtually everything. I generally vacuum seal anything that is not normally refrigerated and will not be consumed in 12 to 24 hours. I use my Food Saver and seal most things in wide mouth Mason jars.
