Watch a bit of it here, it looks great I love that it is introduced by a guy who has cured himself of type 1 diabetes:

Thankx Zoe~ I think that is the same intro that is on the website (or a myspace link on that website that actually has a few more clips). The clips look really good. I’m looking for something that totally focuses on raw food and does not include the animal issues stuff and other issues that sometimes are included.
It looks good but I’m holding out for “rawfor30days” will it ever, ever get released ???!!!
Maybe the delay’s caused by doing “And here he is a year later still raw and cured etc” kind of filming…who knows?
I suspect it is a financial issue that is delaying the release. Money! sheesh! Have you seen Marcus Rothkranz’s promo? Flashy!
Hi! I just finished watching these dvd’s an hour ago after getting it in the mail yesterday. I found it to be really inspiring. It is basically a collection of interviews with raw food experts and celebrities that are organized into topics like for example: detox and cleansing, athletic performance and spiritual aspects etc. It also includes some recipes demonstrated by raw chefs. There was some mention of animal aspects but it was certainly not focused on. I found it to be very enjoyable. I am glad I bought it… well worth the money for the inspiration. The “raw for 30 days” documentary is supposed to be released in march 2008 according to the raw for life dvd. I will buy that one, too!
Marcu Rothjrantz is a unreal!!! I love his promo, so different for the raw food world. What a great idea he has, I’d go to see him on tour if I was in USA.
Thankx northernlights! That’s great info. Did you learn anything new?
Hmm… I don’t know if I learned anything new really. I guess I feel like it gave me more insight into the raw food community. It was inspiring more than informative I think. But, it would work great as an introduction to the rawfood lifestyle. But if you are already a raw foodist than I guess you might have heard about these things before. I have tried two of the recipes from the dvd and they were fantastic. (The raw “rice” and the kale salad… very yummy!) I guess the spiritual aspect was a new side I hadn’t heard before from raw foodists and that totally resonated with me. I am a big fan of Michael Beckwith so it was fun for me to see him on the dvd. Also upon a second viewing I noticed a mistake I made…. the “raw for 30 days” documentary is advertised as coming out in the spring of 2008…. not march… my mistake. :-)
I bought the DVD a few weeks ago and found it very informative and well done. It’s great for introducing people to raw food.
