I came across this 21 raw questions here, and I just couldn’t resist doing them myself!
1. Favorite Raw Vegan milk? Mmm, cashew milk. I tend to make my raw chia pudding recipe, and just have a few swigs of the milk before I mix in the chia seeds (to make it puddingy). Yummy!
2. What are the top 3 recipes you are planning to make? This questions implies that I have not yet made them. I really want to make raw lasagne, raw ice cream or raw sorbet, and a really fancy raw cake. I am pretty lazy so I haven’t done any of these yet.
3. Most disastrous recipe/meal failure? When I first went 100% raw in August 2009 I made a huge carrot cake that must have been $30 in ingredients. It was…gross and sloppy and wet! I didn’t have a dehydrator back then, so I couldn’t really do anything with it. It was really gross. I tried to eat it but I just ended up throwing most of it out.
4. How do you organize your recipes? Big mess! I have a directory on my computer, plus I have a ton of 8.5×11 paper from my printer that are just shoved into real raw recipe books. It’s a giant mess!
5. Compost, trash, or garbage disposal? Our house is under perpetual renovation, so we don’t actually have a kitchen sink and we certainly don’t have a garbage disposal. We live on 63 acres and we have a big veggie garden, so we definitely compost.
6. If you were stranded on an island and could only bring 3 foods…what would they be? Hmm, the good old desert island question, huh? Probably almonds, bananas and apples. Pretty practical, I know.
7. Fondest food memory from your childhood? Hmm, I guess making apple pie with my mom. She wasn’t really into cooking, so when we made apple pie it was a big deal!
8. Favorite raw ice cream? We don’t have a freezer. I’ve never had raw ice cream!
9. Most loved kitchen appliance? Um, Vitamix. Duh! I do love my food processor, too, though.
10. Spice/herb you can’t be without? Is garlic an herb?
11. Recipe (Cook) book you have owned for the longest time? Well, in the raw food world, the first book I ever had was Raw Rose’s book, which I still find useful for staple recipes.
12. Favorite flavor of jam/jelly? I’ve never had raw jam or jelly. I bet strawberry would be fantastic though.
13. Favorite raw (vegan) recipe to serve to an omni-friend? Chia pudding, raw truffles, or raw alfredo.
15. Name 3 items in your freezer without looking. As mentioned, don’t have a freezer! But if I did I’d keep lots of frozen fruit in there. Especially blueberries.
16. Favorite grocery store? Sobeys.
17. Food blog you read the most. I don’t read a lot of food blogs. Mostly I read the RawFoodTalk forum.
18. What is one ingredient that you’ve become familiar with that you can’t imagine you ever lived without? The countless things you can do with nuts!!
19. Most coveted condiment? Raw mayo or raw ketchup.
20. Best food smell? Garlic on my fingers, if I’m in the right mood.
21. Best cooked food memory that you’d like to re-create raw? Tuna! And I have recreated it and I love it!
Woo, that was fun!

Those is a good list of questions. Haven’t seen that before and might do a post about them myself.
Especially love #3. Maybe because raw food fails – even when they’re “gross and sloppy” are still far more appetizing that cooked/omni fails
And high five for the garlic love! There’s supposed to be 3 kinds of folks in the world; those who hate garlic, those who like it, and those who can’t get enough. I think we’re both in that last category
Lol love the questions
